About the event

Whether you are a seasoned Yogi,just setting down the path or someone curious to know more about Ayurveda,take some time off for yourself this June to discover holistic wellbeing for you.​

Join us at the North Londons secret garden for some workshops on Ayurveda, season specific asanas and pranayama with Jess Long and relaxing meditation to some beautiful music played live by Gareth Jones.

Enjoy an Ayurvedic lunch later in the serene surroundings of the Omved Gardens.​

9 am: Welcome

Collect your goody bag, help yourself to some herbal tea and tune yourself in to enjoy a day of relaxation and calm​

9:15 - 9:45am : An Introduction to Ayurveda.

Know your dosha in a short quiz and learn more about some common terms you will hear about through the day.

10:00- 11:15 am: Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation

Jessica Long walks you through a practice with some summer specific asanas and pranayama. Meditate to some beautiful, relaxing music, played live by Gareth Jones ​

11:30 - 12:45 pm: Workshop+Lunch

Explore the tastes of Ayurveda in an informal workshop over lunch and know more of how and why to make it a part of your daily life.​

12:45pm pm: Welcome

 A brief introduction to skincare for Summer.

1:00 - 2:00 pm: Learn 

Learning about the common plants around the garden, smelling and testing a few carrier oils and essential oils and exploring their properties.  

2:15 - 3:00 pm: Make

Make your own blend of botanical oil for you skin with a guided formula.
